How We Began

Ashley and Heath Peterson fulfilled their lifelong dream of owning a paint store called Blue Mist Paint & Flooring in Spartanburg. They share the passion for design and home improvement led them to open their own business in May 2021. Starting initially with selling cabinets, they expanded their product offerings after networking with industry professionals and taking classes to learn more about the retail side of the industry.

The Petersons joined Floors To Go in June 2023. They now have the buying power from suppliers to broaden their flooring product range. They also offer DIY classes to customers, ranging from drywall repair to painting and plumbing. Their aim is not only to provide not only products and services but also knowledge and skills to the community.

Here We Grow

The store’s growth has prompted them to relocate to a new storefront. Ashley’s design has created a welcoming atmosphere. Ashley and Heath are determined to establish themselves as a trusted and valued local business. They continually seek education and improvement opportunities to better serve their customers and community.
